“Role of Muslim World in geometry of Global Power” Int’l Conference Kicks off
The opening ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by internationally-acclaimed Iranian Qari Karim Mansouri.
It was followed by a welcome speech deleivered by Ebrahim Hassabeigi, chancellor of the Supreme National Defense University of Iran.
Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Head of Iraq’s Supreme Islamic Council Ammar Al-Hakim, and Ramadan Abdullah, secretary general of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad Movemnet are also expected to addressed the event.
A number of scholars, thinkers and personalities from different Islamic countries are attending the conference at the IRIB International Conference Hall in Tehran.
After the opening speech, expert roundtables will be held to discuss different issues in the Muslim world, especially the role of Islamic Awakening in the geometry of international power.
