Judges of Sharjah Holy Quran Award Honored

Judges of the ۱۷th edition of Quran and Nabawi Hadith competition in Sharjah were honored on June ۱ in the United Arab Emirates.


According to WAM news agency, the judges of the competition as well as the organizing committees and institutes which cooperated in the organization of the competition were honored in a ceremony.

Addressing the program, Omar Al-Shamesi, director of Quran and Nabawi Hadith Institute in Sharjah said that the competition provided an opportunity for the youth, imams of mosques, Quran memorizers and Quran activists of the society to evaluate their skills in a Quranic event.

The 17th edition of Sharjah Quran and Nabawi Hadith Award was held with 650 participants, he added.

The participants competed in memorization of 20, 10, and 5 Juzes of the Holy Quran as well as memorization of the entire Quran.

Abdullah Khalaf Al-Hosani, supervisor of this edition of the competition, thanked the organizing committees of the competition, members of the jury panel and various institutes of the country cooperated in holding the competition.
