Exhibition Hosts Quran Competition for Those with Disabilities

A Quran competition for the visually-impaired and those with disabilities was held on Friday at the International Quran Exhibition in Tehran.

200 individuals took part in the contest, which featured the first 12 verses of Surah Abasa, the 80th Surah of the Holy Quran, the expo's press center reported.
It was organized by the women's committee of the exhibition and sponsored by the office of Ayatollah Sistani.
A number of officials including Ahmad Masjedjamei, head of Tehran Islamic Municipal Council, and Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, director of the Quran exhibit were present at the program.
Ten contenders were selected as top winners and awarded at the end of the competition.
