Indonesian Quran Reciter Dies While Reciting Surah al-Mulk

TEHRAN (IQNA) – We never know when death will come knocking at our doors as that remains Allah’s secret.

This was what happened to an Ustaz (senior Qari) from Indonesia, who died in a ‘husnul khatimah’ (a good end) manner.

In a viral video, Ja’far Abdul Rahman was reading the second sentence of surah al-Mulk in Surabaya on Monday, when his voice started to weaken before he passed out.

According to reports from some Indonesian portals, Ja’far passed away a few minutes after that.

Ja’far was a popular religious figure in Indonesia and  often sought after for his beautiful Al-Quran recitations.

The second sentence in the surah Al-Mulk describes death.
