Over 4000 Students Attend Quran Competition in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – As many as 4650 Qatari Quran students have participated in a national Quran competition which started in Qatar on Sunday, July 29.

 

 

According to Al-Arab website, it is the final stage of a Quran competition held among 130 Quranic centers in different parts of the country.

The Quranic Sciences Center affiliated to the Religious Dissemination and Guidance Office of Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs supervises the national Quranic event.

The panel of judges, comprising 380 Quran experts, evaluate the Quran memorization skills of the participants.

The national Quran competition is one of the main criteria for the evaluation of Quran students in Qatar and helps to promote their Quranic skills.

The competition also helps to assess the centers’ operations in the framework of the Quranic Sciences Center of the ministry.

The Quranic Sciences Center has called on the students’ parents to have more interaction with the Quranic centers to help them raise a Quranic generation.
