TEHRAN (IQNA) – A 76-year-old woman in Egypt has inscribed 30 copies of the entire Quran in seven years.

According to vetogate.com, Zeynab Abdulghani Muhammad Hussein has 5 sons and 2 daughters and lives in Al-Talin town of Minya Province of Egypt. Her father was a memorizer of the entire Quran and Nabawi Hadiths and also an interpreter of the Quran.

“I wished to memorize the entire Quran and when I succeeded to memorize 6 Juzes, one of my friends encouraged me to write down the verses of the Divine Book to better memorize them,” she said.

The lady added that she inscribed 1000 Quranic verses in every 6 days. “One of the copies took only 25 days to complete and it was the copy which my son wanted to take with him in Umrah pilgrimage.”

She hopes her hand-written Quran copies wil be revised and edited by Quran experts.
