Registration Details for Egypt’s Quran Competition Announced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Awqaf Ministry of Egypt announced the dates and other details of registration for the country’s national Quran competition.
According to al-deerah news website, registration will begin on June 11 and will be open until the end of the month.
The ministry said the main objective of the national Quran competition is to identify Quranic talents of the country and prepare them for international Quran competitions.
The national Quranic event will be held in five categories, including Quran memorization with interpretation for Al-Azhar university’s students or graduates under the age of 35, Quran memorization with Tajweed for the youth under 30, Quran memorization with Tajweed for children under 12, Quran memorization for the disabled and memorization of at least 15 Juzes of Quran for the participants under 25.
