Iran Parliament Speaker Condoles Death of Assembly of Experts Member
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian parliament Speaker Ali Larijani expressed condolences over the death of Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini, a member of the Assembly of Experts.
In a message released on Saturday, Larijani described Ayatollah Amini as a great character and scholar who made efforts all his life to spread Islamic sciences and promote the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
He also highlighted the senior cleric’s role in the Islamic Revolution both before and after the victory of the revolution.
Larijani expressed condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Iranian nation, Islamic seminaries and family of Ayatollah Amini and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Ayatollah Amini who had been hospitalized for a couple of days in Qom died on Friday.
He represented the people of Tehran in the Assembly of Experts
