Watch Quran Recitation by Egyptian Qari’s Son

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mahmoud Abdul Fattah Taruti, the son of prominent Egyptian Qari Abdul Fattah Taruti, is following in the footsteps of his father.

 

The 16-year-old has a beautiful voice and has mastery over Tajweed and Quran recitation skills.

He lives in the village of Tarut in Egypt’s governorate of Sharqia, according to menafn.com website.

He is a high school student and wants to study medicine at university.

Mahmoud started memorizing the Quran at five and managed to learn the entire Holy Book at the age of 13.

He at the same time learned recitation skills and now recites the Quran in Egypt’s Quran Radio.

Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.

Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.

Quranic activities are very common in the Muslim-majority Arab country and many of the Muslim world’s top Qaris in the past and present have been Egyptian.
