Given the coronavirus pandemic and the need to observe the health protocols, the mourning programs in presence of the Leader will be held without the participation of people this year, it said in a statement.

It added that the programs will be broadcast on different TV channels for people to watch.

Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world hold ceremonies every year on the first days of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).
