Speaking in a radio program, Abdol Hadi Feqhizadeh said the virtual exhibition will begin on April 21.
Previously, Feqhizadeh had said the online expo would likely be held during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations marking the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in February.
It is going to be held instead of the annual international Quran exhibition that was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
It is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
The expo showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
The novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, has infected more than 106 million people around the world.
The outbreak has had a major impact on global sporting, cultural, religious and political events, with a host of events canceled or postponed.
