During the meeting, held in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, the officials of the two Palestinian resistance movements talked about the outcomes and achievements of the recent three-day war in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.info reported.

They dismissed rumors that there have been difference and disputes between the two sides, stressing that the bond between the two Islamic resistance movements is a strong one that is at the service of the cause of resistance in Palestine.

The two sides reiterated that Al-Quds is the eternal capital of Palestine and the main reason for conformation with the Zionist enemy.

The Zionist regime will never be able to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque and the battle with the occupiers of Palestine will continue until the land of Palestine is cleared of all of them, the Hamas and Islamic Jihad officials added.

They further reaffirmed their support for Palestinians being held in the Zionist regime’s prisons, calling on all Palestinians to launch campaigns in support of these heroes.

The Islamic Jihad’s military wing fought a fierce battle for three consecutive days against Israeli forces starting on August 5, forcing Tel-Aviv to demand a ceasefire.

On Friday, thousands of people rallied in the Gaza Strip to celebrate the Islamic Jihad’s victory against the Israeli regime and assert unity among Palestinian resistance groups.
