Iranian Quranic Researcher Commemorated
The Quranic event was held both in-person here in Tehran and virtually all over the country on Wednesday evening.
It began with Ibtihal recitation by Mohsen Badpa, followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Amin Pouya and Seyed Mohammad Hosseinipour.
Then a number of Quranic figures took the podium, talking about the character of late Lesani Fesharaki and his services to the Holy Quran, including by training students.
Mohammad Ali Lesani Fesharaki (born in 1953) was a scholar and teacher in the field of Quran and Hadith sciences.
He spent over 20 years in teaching Quranic sciences and Arabic literature in different university and academic and research centers.
He also wrote many books and papers about the Quran, Quranic research method, Quran interpretations, and related subjects.
Lesani Fesharaki died on February 16, 2023.
